About

Surrounded by art at an early age, Tara Glenny (b. 1994, Rockford, Illinois, USA) grew up in a family that encouraged creativity and shared a love for craftsmanship. After graduating with her Associate in Arts degree in 2016 and spending a life-changing semester at the Aegean Center for Fine Arts in Italy and Greece, she was accepted into the Drawing and Painting Program at the Florence Academy of Art (Florence, Italy). There, she received classical training for three years, learning skills and techniques passed down from the Old Masters, and graduated in 2020. Today, Tara resides in the United States where she begins her journey as a professional artist.

Most inspired by nostalgic objects and themes, Tara works primarily from life with subjects under natural light. Her work hangs in private collections in Europe, Australia, Asia, and North America.
